Just Under a Quarter of a Million Dollars Contingency up for Grabs in the SunTrust MOTO-ST Series

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (March 20, 2008) – Just under a quarter of a million dollars in contingency prize money and/or product is up for grabs for this year's SunTrust MOTO-ST Series.

Paying cash and/or product, EBC Brakes, Roaring Toyz, Kal-Gard Lubricants, Ducati Motorcycles, Czaia & Gallagher, P.A., Leo Vince USA, K&N Engineering, Performance Under Gear, PIAA, Buell Motorcycle Company, Pit Bull Products, Inc., and Pirelli Tires have all posted awards for this exciting professional two-wheeled series.

In addition to payouts for top finishing positions, the SunTrust MOTO-ST Series also offers teams a chance to earn special awards. PIAA is paying $300 to the team that moves up the most positions in any class during each race. PIAA stickers are required and are available at Tech at each race. Roaring Toyz is awarding $250 to the best all-around looking team at each event and Czaia & Gallagher, P.A. will award the Lucky 13 Award of $300 to the team that finishes 13th overall. Last, but not least, Performance Under Gear will award the Performance of the Race Award to the team in the Buell Motorcycle Company Super Sport Twins (SST) class that records the race's fastest lap. Each rider on the Performance of the Race winning team (to a maximum of three) will receive a set of Performance Under Gear. Stickers must be run to qualify and again, these are available at Tech.

And, this is just a beginning. Additional contingency contracts are in the process of being signed and should be available starting with Round 2 of the SunTrust MOTO-ST Series at Virginia International Raceway, April 27.

The SunTrust MOTO-ST Series is organized and sanctioned by Professional Motorsports Productions (PMP) of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and the Grand American Road Racing Association (Grand-Am), based in Daytona Beach, Fla., provides the series with administrative and commercial support.
